Opening a second or third location changes what you need from your software. One salon needs a good calendar. Several salons need a way to see every shop without logging in and out, schedule staff who move between locations, and keep each location's numbers straight, without the bill growing every time you sign a new lease.

This guide compares the main options and what they actually cost for a 3-location salon. (If you're still planning your second shop, start with how to manage multiple salon locations.)

What to look for in multi-location salon software

Before you compare brands, decide which of these you actually need. Most of the price difference between tools comes from the last few.

  • One login for every location. You should be able to switch from one shop's calendar to another's in a click. This is standard now, but some older setups still need a separate account per location.
  • Staff who work at more than one location. A stylist who works Mondays downtown and Saturdays at your second shop needs a schedule at each. Better tools also let you set a different role and commission rate per location.
  • How floating staff are billed. Some tools charge per location and per user, so a stylist at two shops can cost you twice. Others count each person once.
  • A booking page for each location. Clients search by neighborhood. Each shop needs its own booking page so clients book the right one.
  • Shared or separate client lists. Shared lists let any location see a client's full history. Separate lists keep each shop's regulars to itself. Neither is wrong, but you should know which you're getting.
  • Reports per location, and combined. Every tool shows each location's numbers. Fewer show all your locations side by side in one report.
  • Central control of services and prices. Useful when you want the same menu everywhere and need to change a price once instead of at every shop.
  • Inventory across locations. Only matters if you sell a lot of retail or move color stock between shops.

What 3 locations actually cost

Here's what each tool would cost a salon with 3 locations and 15 staff (5 per location), using prices published on each company's site as of October 2026.

Software How it charges 3 locations, 15 staff
SupaDay Business $22 per staff member, capped at $149/mo, unlimited locations $149/mo
GlossGenius Gold $48 per location (up to 9 staff), 15% off extra locations, billed yearly about $130/mo
Vagaro $30 per location + $10 per bookable calendar (up to 7) about $240/mo
Boulevard Essentials $143 per location about $429/mo
Square Appointments Premium $149 per location $447/mo
Mangomint $120 per location + $10 per user about $510/mo
Zenoti Quote only Not published
Meevo Quote only, yearly contract Not published

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Promotional prices change. Boulevard and Vagaro both advertise new-customer discounts, so check the current price before you sign.
  • Commission tracking can change the plan. Square includes commission tracking only on Premium, which is why we priced Premium. Square Plus is $49 per location.
  • Add-ons add up. Mangomint, Boulevard and others charge extra for things like marketing, phone lines or payroll.
  • Per-location pricing compounds. At 5 locations, per-location tools cost about 1.7 times the 3-location price. A capped plan doesn't change.

The main options, compared

Zenoti: built for franchises and large chains

Zenoti is enterprise software. It shares one client profile across every location, can push menu and membership changes to every shop at once, moves inventory between locations, and reports at the location, region or company level. Its customers include chains with hundreds of locations.

Best for: franchises and chains with 10+ locations and a head office. Watch out for: pricing is quote-only, and it's far more system than a 2- or 3-location salon needs.

Meevo: central office for growing chains

Meevo's "Central Office" gives head office one shared database across locations, combined reporting and inventory transfers. Its Enterprise plan adds central staff management and different pricing by market.

Best for: mid-size to large chains and franchises. Watch out for: quote-only pricing and a yearly contract.

Boulevard: premium salons and spas, 2 to 20 locations

Boulevard shares client data across locations, shows every location's schedule in one view, and breaks down owner-level reports by location. It's polished and popular with high-end salons, spas and med spas.

Best for: premium salons and spas with 2 to 20 locations. Watch out for: it's billed per location, starting at $143 a month each, and higher plans cost more.

Mangomint: flexible, with combined reports

Mangomint keeps everything in one account. Staff can be assigned to one or more locations, clients are shared (with each visit tagged by location), and services and prices can be the same everywhere or set per location. Reports can cover one location, a few, or the whole business.

Best for: salons and spas with 2 to 20 locations that want combined reporting. Watch out for: $120 per location plus $10 per user, before add-ons, makes it one of the more expensive options.

Vagaro: budget-friendly per location

Vagaro bills each location separately but keeps the base price low. Its "Flagship Syncing" copies clients, services, prices, products and memberships across locations.

Best for: budget-minded groups with 2 to 10 locations. Watch out for: each bookable calendar adds $10 per location (up to 7), and SMS and some features are paid add-ons.

GlossGenius: simple and low-cost for small groups

GlossGenius includes multi-location features on all plans: one client list across locations, a booking site with a location picker, and reports for the whole business or each location. Extra locations get 15% off.

Best for: beauty businesses with 1 to 3 locations. Watch out for: the lowest prices assume yearly billing, and commission tracking requires Platinum ($148 per location).

Square Appointments: if you already use Square

Square lets you make staff bookable at several locations and keeps calendars, clients and reporting in one account, with one product and service list you can share.

Best for: small groups already using Square for payments. Watch out for: commission tracking needs Premium at $149 per location, and every location on the account must be on the same plan.

SupaDay: one capped price for unlimited locations

SupaDay's Business plan includes unlimited locations under one login. Each location has its own calendar, staff, services, booking page, website and check-in QR code. Staff can work at more than one location, with a different schedule, role and commission rate at each, and they count as one seat on your bill no matter how many shops they work at.

Pricing is $22 per staff member, capped at $149 a month total, so opening another location doesn't raise your software bill once you've hit the cap.

Best for: owner-run groups of 2 to 10 locations that want simple, predictable pricing. Watch out for: SupaDay keeps each location's clients and reports separate. You switch locations to see each shop's numbers, and there's no single report that adds every location together yet. It also doesn't track retail inventory. If a shared client list or combined reports across shops are must-haves, Mangomint, Boulevard or Zenoti fit better.

How to choose

  • 2 to 3 locations, owner-run: you need one login, floating staff, a booking page per shop, and a predictable bill. SupaDay, GlossGenius and Vagaro all fit, so compare on pricing and day-to-day ease.
  • Clients who visit more than one shop: pick a tool with a shared client list, like Mangomint, Boulevard, GlossGenius or Vagaro.
  • You run the business from the numbers: if you want every location in one report, Mangomint, Boulevard and Meevo do this well.
  • Big retail business: look at tools with inventory transfers, like Zenoti, Meevo or Vagaro.
  • 10+ locations or a franchise: Zenoti or Meevo are built for head-office control.

Whichever you pick, do a test run before you move all your shops. Set up one location, schedule a stylist at two shops, and check how that stylist shows up on your bill.

The bottom line

There's no single best multi-location salon software, only the best fit for your size. Large chains need Zenoti or Meevo. Premium groups that want shared clients and combined reports do well on Mangomint or Boulevard, but they pay per location. Smaller groups should watch how pricing grows with each new shop. SupaDay's Business plan keeps every location under one login for at most $149 a month, with floating staff counted once. See how multi-location works in SupaDay →
