Your profile holds your own login details and the emails SupaDay sends you. It's personal: changing it doesn't affect your salon's settings or anyone else on your team. Every staff member, from owner to provider, has one.
Open your profile
Click your avatar (the circle with your initial) at the top right and choose Profile. On a phone, tap More, then Profile under Account.
The page is a list of sections. Click a section name to open it, and click it again to close it.
Change your name, email or phone
- Open Profile Information.
- Edit your Name, Email or Phone.
- Click Save. You'll see Saved. next to the button.
If your email isn't confirmed yet, you'll see Your email address is unverified. Click the link below it to get a new confirmation email.
Your name is what clients see when they pick you on the booking page, so use the name they know you by.
Change your password
- Open Password.
- Type your Current Password.
- Type a New Password and type it again in Confirm Password.
- Click Save.
Choose which emails you get
There are two sections for this.
Notifications controls emails about your bookings:
- Open Notifications.
- Tick or untick Email notifications.
- Click Save.
You always get an email when a new booking is made for you. Email notifications controls the emails about bookings that are changed or cancelled. Untick it and those stop, but the new-booking emails keep coming.
Staff don't get text messages about bookings. Your clients still get their own booking texts.
App Preferences controls emails from SupaDay itself:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Marketing Emails | Product news and updates from SupaDay. |
| Security Alerts | Emails about security events on your account. |
Click Save Preferences after changing them.
Tip: Busy days and a full inbox? Turn off Email notifications to cut out the change and cancellation emails, and check your schedule on the calendar instead. Every booking and every change still shows there.
Set an admin PIN
Admins and managers also see Admin PIN. It's used to approve sensitive actions like changing the turn rotation or opening Transactions. The steps are in How to protect sensitive actions with an admin PIN.
Manage your devices
Open Devices to see the phones, tablets and computers you've signed in on, with their location and when each was last used. It's included on the Grow and Business plans.
- Trust marks a device you recognize. It then shows Trusted. Click Untrust to undo it.
- Remove takes a device off your list. Use it for an old phone or a computer you don't use anymore.
If you see a device you don't recognize, remove it and change your password.
Log out
Open Log Out and click Log Out to end your session on this device.
Leave a team
Open Leave Team to remove yourself from the salon you're currently in, then click Leave Team and confirm. You lose access to that salon right away.
If you're the last administrator, SupaDay won't let you leave. Make someone else an administrator first in staff roles and permissions.
Delete your account
Open Delete Account and click Delete Account. Type your password to confirm. This permanently deletes your account and its data and can't be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
Heads up: If you only want to stop working at one salon, use Leave Team instead. Deleting your account removes it everywhere.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I get text messages about my bookings?
SupaDay doesn't send booking texts to staff. You get an email for each new booking instead, plus emails about changes and cancellations if Email notifications is on under Notifications in your profile. Clients still get their own booking texts.
How do I stop getting an email for every booking?
The email for each new booking can't be turned off. To stop the emails about changed and cancelled bookings, open Profile, then Notifications, untick Email notifications and click Save. Your bookings still show on the calendar and your dashboard.
Can I change my profile photo?
Not from the profile page right now. Your initial is shown in the menu instead.
I don't see the Admin PIN section. Why?
Admin PIN only shows for admins and managers. Providers don't need one, because they can't approve protected actions.
Why can't I see my devices?
Device management is part of the Grow and Business plans. If your salon's trial has ended, ask the account owner to pick a plan.
