How to View Transaction Reports

The Transactions page shows every completed checkout — ticket details, payment methods, tips, and refunds. Available on the Grow plan and above when POS checkout is enabled.

Open transactions

Go to Transactions (under the Insights menu, visible to managers and admins). This page is PIN-protected if you've enabled the PIN requirement in your security settings.

Summary cards

Five cards at the top show totals for the filtered period:

  • Gross Sales — total revenue
  • Net Sales — gross minus refunds
  • Tips — total tips
  • Refunds — total refunded
  • Transactions — number of transactions

Filter transactions

Two rows of filters plus date presets:

  • Search — ticket number or customer name
  • Status — All, Completed, Refunded, Partial Refund, Voided
  • Provider — All Providers or a specific staff member
  • Payment — All, Card, Cash, Check, Gift Card, Store Credit, Other
  • From and To — date range

Date presets: Today, Yesterday, This Week, This Month — click any to quickly set the range.

Click Filter to apply, or Clear to reset.

Transaction details

Click any transaction row to open the detail view:

  • Line items grouped by provider — service name, quantity, price, per-item discounts
  • Tips per provider (with an Edit button to adjust tip splitting)
  • Totals — subtotal, discount, tax, tip, total
  • Payments — each payment with method, amount, card brand (if card), and a Refund button for processing returns
  • Email Receipt — send or resend a receipt to the customer (if they have an email on file)

Process a refund

  1. Click a transaction to open the detail view
  2. Find the payment you want to refund in the Payments section
  3. Click Refund
  4. Enter the refund amount (partial or full, up to the original payment amount)
  5. Add an optional reason
  6. Click Process Refund

Card refunds go back to the customer's card. The transaction status updates to Refunded or Partial Refund.
