How to Use the Turn Tracker
The turn tracker manages your walk-in rotation — who's next, who's on break, and how turns are distributed across your team.
Open the turn tracker
Click Turns & Checkins in the navigation (visible to managers and admins). The page has three columns: Staff Turns, History, and Customer Check-in Queue.
Staff rotation
Clock in
Providers who aren't in the rotation yet appear under Not Clocked In. Click Clock In to add them to the rotation. They join at the bottom of the list.
Assign turns
The provider at the top of the list is marked Next — they take the next walk-in. When they take a client:
- Click Full Turn to assign a full turn (counts as 1)
- Click Half Turn to assign a half turn (counts as 0.5) — available only if half turns are enabled in settings
The provider moves to the bottom of the rotation and the next person moves up.
Breaks
Click the three-dot menu on a provider and select On Break. They move to a "stepped out" section below the active rotation. Click Back In to return them to the rotation.
Clock out
Click the three-dot menu and select Clock Out to remove a provider from the rotation entirely. To clock out everyone at once, use the Clock Out All button at the top of the staff list.
Reorder
Drag providers using the handle on the left side of each row to change the rotation order.
History
The history column shows every turn assigned today as a grid of tiles — each showing the provider name, turn value (1 or 1/2), and timestamp.
Use the date picker to view turn history from past days. The Undo button (today only) reverses the last turn assignment.
Daily Totals at the bottom shows each provider's total turn count for the day.
Check-in queue
Walk-in clients who checked in via QR code or kiosk appear here with their name, service, preferred tech, and wait time. When a walk-in is taken, click Served. To remove someone, click the X button.
Served walk-ins move to the Served section at the bottom with a timestamp. You can Undo to move them back to waiting, or click Checkout to go to POS (if enabled).
Settings
Click the gear icon in the header to open Turn Tracker Settings:
- Allow half turns — show the half turn button alongside full turns
- Auto-reset rotation daily — clear the rotation automatically each new day. Turn off if your business operates past midnight
- Show floating widgets — display turn tracker and check-in queue widgets on every page so you don't have to keep the turn tracker open
